Dedicated to Col. John S. Mosby in Warrenton, Virginia, in Fauquier County. September 23, 1899. The Monument is at the intersection of Waterloo Street (Business U.S. 211) and Ashby Street, on the left when traveling west on Waterloo Street. The marker is in a courtyard between the Fauquier County Courthouse and the Old Jail.

Some time ago, I was commissioned by the Stuart - Mosby Society in Warrenton, Va. to reproduce the Mosby monument located next to the County Court House in the city.

The piece is being sold by the Society and Casteel Sculptures LLC to assist in raising funds to further the historical interest of the Society.

The replica measures 5.5" x 5.5" x 19" and features a rose granite stone and bronze tablets with historical text along with a bronze portrait of the Gray Ghost himself, Col. John S. Mosby.

A special tribute to a well known Virginia Confederate!
